Events and courses

Bookings can be made by telephone, email, post or via our website

Booking by any of the above methods does not automatically constitute confirmation of a place. Barefoot Business will confirm all bookings in writing on receipt of a completed booking form and payment in full. Booking reservations without payment in full will be held on a provisional basis (excluding workshop choices) and places can not be guaranteed. All bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

All fees must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks prior to the event, 28 days from invoice, or immediately for late bookings.

Barefoot Business will accept late delegate bookings subject to availability and immediate payment in full. Barefoot Business will try to ensure that late booking information is incorporated into the event administration process, however this cannot be guaranteed if the booking is made less than 10 days before the event

Written cancellations received more than 6 weeks before the event will receive a full refund less £10 administration charge. Cancellations received after this time or failure to attend the conference without prior written notification will be subject to a 100 percent cancellation charge.

Limitation of liability:

·      Barefoot Business does not accept responsibility for accident, injury or loss suffered while attending events unless it is directly due to negligence on its part.

·      Barefoot Business accepts no responsibility for any loss incurred while using material or information gained at Barefoot Business events.

Barefoot Business reserves the right to amend or cancel any event or event times and dates. This includes changes to speakers, content and programme. In the unlikely occurrence of an event cancellation, Barefoot Business will return any payments received in advance. Barefoot Business will not, however, refund any costs incurred as a result of this cancellation.

Jobs

Jobhunters:

All jobs on the individual pages are supplied unedited by the employers concerned.  No liability whatsoever will be accepted by Barefoot Business nor our employees for the accuracy of any claims therein. While we make every effort to ensure that wordings, salaries and conditions in job advertisements are correct, these are a guide only; weaccept no responsibility for loss or inconvenience through inaccuracy, omission or misunderstanding.

Employers:

Unless agreed in advance, all advertisements must be submitted electronically by employers through the website and the relevant fees must be paid at the point of submitting the advertisement online.

Barefoot Business Job listings will be posted every Thursday, and your job will be listed on the Thursday following your submission, as long as you submit before 5pm on Wednesday.

You can end Advertisements online by emailing hello@barefootbusiness.com. No refunds are available for any cancelled Advertisement

The employer will ensure the advertisements or any other information provided by the advertiser is legal, decent, honest, truthful, accurate and not misleading in any way and the Member will not use the Website site for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

The employer will ensure the advertisements complies with all the applicable legislation, regulations, codes and guidelines applicable to such advertising content being advertised on the Website. The member will ensure the advertisements do not contain material that is obscene, blasphemous, defamatory, infringing on any rights of any third party or otherwise legally actionable by such third party.

All new jobs must be sent to us using the forms on this site.  No more than one distinct position may be advertised per posting but if that role requires several people to fill it, eg. street fundraisers, wardens etc, you will not need to post multiple ads.

In order to maintain the integrity of the site all job ads will be reviewed before posting and anything deemed unsuitable will be removed.
